Who We Are

Phronesis Students Development Trust is a registered Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) and registered Public Benefit Organisation (PBO - Section 18A), proudly holding a Level 1 BBB-EE certificate. Based in the underserved communities of Kya Sand, rural/informal settlements in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa.

Established in 2010, our non-profit organization is dedicated to nurturing the potential of underprivileged children, youth and women, equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and values they need to become compassionate and responsible individuals. Through our comprehensive holistic development initiatives, we aim to provide opportunities for personal and academic growth, ensuring that every child, youth and woman has the tools necessary to succeed.

Our team consists of a diverse group of educators, mentors, and volunteers who share a common vision: a world where all young minds have access to quality education and the guidance needed to become leaders of integrity. With this shared goal, we work tirelessly to create a supportive and enriching environment for our students.
